The Christchurch Self Realization Sevalight Centre operates from The Dharma Room which is in the Silverstream Village Shops in Kaiapoi. Kaiapoi is about 20 minutes north of Christchurch city.
We use the Dharma Room as a Meditation room, with a regular weekly opportunity to meditate together on Sundays until April 6 starting from 7:15 pm and then changing to a new start time of Sundays 9:45 am beginning April 13.
We begin theseย Meditate Togetherย times by playingย a recording of anย Inspiring Talkย by our beloved Guru, Mata Yogananda Mahasaya Dharma. Winged Prayer asking for help for all in need, is sent out about an hour after this. Please stay for as short or long a time as you feel to.
We also hold Spiritual gatherings and celebrations here when suitable occasions arise. The room is easily converted to a space for courses and workshops, yoga classes, Pure Spiritual Healing and Intuitive Counselling appointments, and more….
People who come can enjoy a lovely stream-side walk before or after their appointments if they so wish. We are reminded of the closeness of the countryside with a paddock just over our back fence with shady trees and sheep (or lambs in the spring) and the rustling of leaves when thereโs a breeze. The other shops in the group include a cafรฉ and restaurant. Kaiapoi is just minutes from the coast so walks and swimmingย by the sea are very nearby.
